WADE DORSEY, trombone

Wade Dorsey was introduced to the trombone at the age of 13, loving its clean, clear sound.  He received scholarships for summer study, then studied at the University of Alberta, and then went on to professional work as part of the variety of bands and ensembles performing in the music scene in Edmonton.  He has toured to 20 different countries, and been active in radio, TV and studio recording.  After moving to the Okanagan in 1991, Wade wasted no time finding connections with the music community here.  He is presently the principal trombone of the OSO and plays in the Fish On Five brass quintet.
