Ken Lavigne blends his classical tenor sounds with modern style. He studied at University of Victoria with a purely classical bent, pursuing Opera and Oratorio. He went on to study with teachers in New York and England. Since then, he has sung with symphonies and orchestras in Canada and the US, and had the special honour of performing for Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II in his hometown of Victoria BC. He was a founding member of the tenor trio Romanza. Ken’s first CD saw him return to the music that got him singing in the first place, musical theatre. He has just released his second solo CD in his unique style.
