Bio
Pianist Jacqueline Perriam, a native of Victoria, studied at the Victoria Conservatory of Music and the University of Victoria with May-Ling Kwok and Robin Wood. Jacqueline has had masterclasses and lessons with many renowned artists at the Banff Centre for the Arts including Gygory Sebok, Anton Kuerti, Marek Jablonski and Gilbert Kalish. She completed her studies in the Netherlands at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam with Norwegian pianist and Messiaen specialist Hakon Austbo. Jacqueline has performed on CBC Radio with well-known Victoria violinist Timothy Haig. Other notable performances include concertos with the Victoria Symphony and the Palm Court Orchestra, as well as duo performances throughout the Netherlands with husband saxophonist Erik Abbink. Jacqueline now resides in Victoria with husband Erik and their two boys, Anthony and Tristan.
