Jon Burden is a blues and roots guitar player/ singer originally from England, where he first performed as a child.  He relocated to Canada in the mid 60s and started performing with bands in his teens.   Jon is best known for his work with Holly Hyatt (Holly and Jon).  They have released three CDs to high critical acclaim and have garnered airplay and CD sales worldwide.  Their latest album was voted one of the best Canadian blues albums of 2013.  Jon has played on shows with award-winning artists such as the legendary Leon Russell; guitar slingers Colin James, Jeff Healey and David Gogo; Maple Blues award winner Paul Reddick; The Trews, Harry Manx, Roy Forbes and has recently toured with Texas blues legend Sonny Rhodes and the Canadian goddess of the blues Rita Chiarelli.
