Jeremy Holmes is a bass player and composer who has recorded and played with such diverse artists as Jim Byrnes, Joey Keithley of DOA, Steve Dawson, John Hammond, Cousin Harley, Alvin Youngblood Hart, Russell DeCarle, Roxanne Potvin, Colin James, Jill Barber, Michael Kaeshammer, Aaron Pritchett, Rich Hope, Christa Couture, CR Avery, Hannah Georgas, Herald Nix, Gordon Grdina's Haram and Michael Buble. He has worked with such producers as Steve Dawson, Jesse Zubot, John Raham, Sheldon Zaharko, Howard Redekopp and Ryan Guldemond. He was also featured as an actor/musician in The Arts Club The-atre's sold out production of
Buddy! The Buddy Holly Story. Jeremy has studied at The Banff Centre for The Arts, has a Bachelor of Music degree in Jazz Studies and has toured clubs,festivals and theatres throughout Canada, the US, and Europe. His instrumental band Flatback received a Canada Council grant to record its newest album,
The Harmonic Circus.
