ROSLYN FRANTZ, piano

Roslyn has been part of the ‘musical’ fabric of the Okanagan Valley for many years using her time and talent as performer, teacher and organizer.  She began her studies in the US, but has studied and performed in Europe, the US and in Canada.  Roslyn has served as coach/accompanist for the Music Academy of the West, New York City Opera, Western Michigan Opera, Tucson Opera, and San Francisco Opera, and as “keyboard” pianist for the Little Symphony of San Francisco, Monterey County Symphony, Kalamazoo Symphony, Grand Rapids Symphoy, Tucson symphony, San Francisco Symphony, and Okanagan Symphony.  She has accompanied many well-known singers, and shared that experience with the young singers at the Vernon Community Music School, The Penticton Academy of the Arts, and the Kelowna Community Music School.  She has brought these Okanagan offspring into the performing world on the stage with Viva Musica, of which she is co-founder and Music Director.
