George Kiraly [cello] has degrees in Music (Cello Performance) from the Universities of Victoria and Western Ontario, and Administration from the University of British Columbia. He was an Instructor at Okanagan College, and Head of the Fine Arts Department at Medicine Hat College. He has performed as a member of the Victoria, Hamilton, Lethbridge and Kamloops Symphonies, and toured extensively as Principal cellist of the Royal Winnipeg Ballet. Presently he is Principal Cellist of the Okanagan Symphony, and teaches Cello and Double Bass at Fountainview Academy in Lillooet.
