Gordon Lucas [piano] was for 19 years the concertmaster of the Prince George Symphony Orchestra. As a violinist, he played in orchestras in Vancouver, Victoria, Toronto and Ottawa. While at UBC, Gordon was concertmaster of the UBC symphony. Recently retired as concertmaster of the PGSO, Gordon is turning his attention to his interest in composing. He was awarded the Compsoer in Residence and Public Liason positions with the PGSO in recognition of his service to the organization. He is also an accomplished pianist, and performs with the Northern Winds Trio in this capacity.
