An accomplished violinist, singer and conductor, Vic Neufeld has been deeply involved in music since childhood. He has been a violinist with the Symphony of the Kootenays (formerly Kootenay Chamber Orchestra) for 30 years, and has played regularly with chamber groups and orchestras in the West Kootenays. As conductor he has directed the Nelson Choral Society, and productions of Die Fledermaus, Marriage of Figaro, Sweeney Todd, Threepenny Opera, and Orpheus and Euridice with Nelson Community Opera. Since retiring from a career in teaching and counselling, Vic is enjoying more time for violin, especially playing in the Longbeach Duo.
