Metin Toyata [horn] joined the Prince George Symphony Orchestra in 1979 as a Grade 11 student. He studied horn/music at UVIC, completing his degree there. He went on to earn his degree in teaching, and recently completed his Masters in Educational Technology degree with U.B.C. Presently Metin is a music teacher at Duchess Park Secondary in Prince George and continues to play with the PGSO.
