MICHELLE KWON, violin

Michele Kwon is currently a member of the first violin section in the Victoria Symphony. She began her studies in her hometown Calgary where she attended the Mount Royal Academy. There she had the opportunity to perform solo and ensemble works with the fine Canadian professional players living and visiting Calgary. Michele continued her studies at McGill University graduated with a degree in Music Performance. She also received the Clara Lichtenstein Scholarship for her Masters Program. In Victoria, in addition to performing with the symphony, Michele enjoys joining colleagues in performing chamber music.
