Tamara Hummel, soprano

Tamara grew up in a musical family and was inspired by her highschool choir teacher to follow a career path in music. She pursued musical studies at UBC and the Vancouver Academy of Music and later travelled to study singing in Salzburg, Austria and New York City. She then lived in Toronto for 10 years, where she professionally trained with the Canadian Opera Company because in addition to giving concerts, Tamara loves to perform on the operatic stage. She grew up in BC and is now living in Cloverdale with her husband and their 3-year old son, both of whom also love to sing.
