Alex Olson (double bass) is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music and has been playing double bass regularly with Victoria Symphony since 1981.  His musical interests beyond symphonic performance include long involvement with big band music, small band combos, rock and funk, musical theatre, opera, bluegrass, tango, east European folk dance and klezmer.  Alex embraces the entire world of music.
