BOB PARK, guitar

Bob pursued a double major and holds degrees in History and Music which probably explains his interest in the historical aspects of his instrument, the guitar.  He studied guitar in Spain with prominent teachers there, and also with John Williams.  He currently performs as a soloist and also with the Okanagan-based chamber music ensemble "Trio del Lago".  In recent times he is stretching into jazz, performing with  "Jazz Out West", a group frequently heard up and down the Okanagan valley and once in a while in the Bahamas. Bob enjoys instrument construction and has given demonstration concerts on modern and historical instruments for the Guild of American Luthiers [instrument builders].
