Bio
Margit Juhász [piano], recently completed her Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance at UBC, studying with Jane Coop and Robert Silverman, as well as her Bachelor of Science in Biochemistry at the University of British Columbia. She performed with the Victoria Symphony Orchestra at the age of 12. Other highlights include performances for Her Majesty, Queen Elizabeth II, former Prime Minister Jean Chretien and former Governor General Adrienne Clarkson; the Gold Medal from the Royal Conservatory of Music for the highest national standing in the ARCT Diploma for Piano Performance; and at 14, eight performances at the Isaac Stern Auditorium in Carnegie Hall with the St. Luke’s Orchestra. In September, she will begin her Master of Science in Experimental Medicine doing cancer research.
