Yin Hong Foo [double bass] earned his Masters Degree from the Irish World Music Centre, Limerick, Ireland, travelling there to study from his native country of Malaysia.  The IWMC gave him the opportunity to study double bass and chamber music with teachers from many countries. Prior to coming to Canada he played with the Malaysian Philharmonic Orchestra for 10 years, and his other orchestral experiences include the Asian Philharmonic, Irish Chamber Orchestra, Red Deer Symphony and the Singapore Symphony Orchestra. Presently he plays with the Okanagan Symphony and combines with other musical colleagues in chamber concerts.
