Bio
Pianist David Stratkauskas is a native of Vancouver, completed his advanced studies at UBC, and served as organist and choir director at St Paul's Church. He moved to London in 2003, where he held posts as director of music at St. Michael Wandsworth Common and at the parish church of St Mary Stoke Newington. As an accompanist he appeared with numerous British choirs, and played a number of famous Cathedral organs. He also worked as a teacher, freelanced as a jazz pianist, and conducted several children's choirs and the choir of News International, the publisher of the Times. David moved back to Canada in 2010 to take the position of Organist at St John the Divine, Victoria. David is as comfortable in the classical world of organ and choral music as he is in the flavours of the jazz style.
