TANYA KLIEFORTH, flute

Tanya completed degrees in both Music (flute performance) and Biology, and spent 9 years in Latin America teaching biology and conducting flute ensembles.  She earned her Master’s degree in Chile, studying sociology and politics, with special study of the native forests.  Tanya has now returned to Vancouver and performs regularly with the Erato Ensemble and the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra.
