Ita Kane-Wilson [concertina] comes from a family steeped in Irish traditional music hailing back as far as her great-grandfather, a fiddler. Ita is from the west coast of Ireland, and began playing concertina a decade ago.  The concertina is an instrument traditionally played by women in parts of Ireland, and has had a revival in recent years.  Ita plays an Anglo-concertina.
