KEN CORMIER, piano

Ken Cormier began his professional career as a repetiteur with Vancouver Opera.  Since then he has been very involved with professional musical theatre.  Favourite Vancouver's Arts Club’s productions for which Ken has been musical director include The Producers, Next to Normal (Jessie Award nomination), Spamalot, Les Misérables, and Billy Elliot.  He has also played keyboards for numerous shows; some highlights: Showboat, Phantom of the Opera, West Side Story, Singin' In the Rain, and Mary Poppins. Ken is also in demand as an accompanist and arranger in the choral world, working since 1998 with Vancouver’s popular men’s choir Chor Leoni, and this season taking on positions with EnChor and the Health Arts Society's new project, The Helena Choir.
