Beth Orson has played Assistant Principal Oboe and English Horn with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra since 1990. As a member of the NY Symphonic Ensemble from 1988-2005, she toured in Japan performing at every major concert hall there. Beth is a dedicated teacher as well, at the University of British Columbia, the Vancouver Academy of Music, and at the National Youth Orchestra of Canada. She is a member of Turning Point Ensemble and has a number of radio broadcasts and film scores to her credit. Ms. Orson has recorded for CBC Records, Deutsche Grammophon, Essay, New World, Parnassus and Technics Records.
