Bassoonist Julia Lockhart is a graduate of Curtis Institute of Music, where she also earned a diploma in harpsichord.  After Curtis, she earned a scholarship to Yale School of Music, and since completing her studies has performed with the Calgary Philharmonic, Victoria Symphony, New Haven Symphony, Toronto Symphony, and as soloist with the University of Toronto Chamber Orchestra.  Julia became a member of the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra in 2002. She also plays with the National Broadcast Orchestra and keeps active as a chamber musician.
