Liam Hockley began studying the clarinet at age 9, completing his studies and is now performing with both symphony orchestras and chamber groups performing everything from wind trios by Mozart to 20th and 21st century music, including avant-garde music. He has premiered several new works, including two that were written specifically for him. Most recently, he appeared as a soloist with the Victoria Symphony, playing Mozart’s Clarinet Concerto in a series of educational concerts for elementary school students, passing on his interest in music to the next generation.
