Halifax, Nova Scotia, native Shawn Earle began playing clarinet at the age of seven. Since that time he has presented solo recitals and performed in orchestras and chamber ensembles throughout North America and Europe.  He has also been active as a teacher, instructing numerous clinics and master classes,and maintaining a private studio. Presently, Shawn is active as a freelance musician and plans to begin a Doctor of Musical Arts degree in clarinet performance in the near future.
