Johanne Perron, cello

Johanne Perron is active as a chamber musician and solo performer.  As soloist she has played with orchestras including the Montreal, Mexico and Lisbon Symphonies.  She has presented recitals in Canada, Brazil, Mexico, Europe and United States, and has performed as chamber musician with members of the Philadelphia Piano Quartet, Classic Chamber concerts of Naples Florida and at the Luzerne NY chamber music festival.  The other aspect she pursues with excitement is the education of the next generation. Johanne has served on the faculty of the University of North Carolina, at the Lynn University Music Conservatory at Boca Raton, and at the Domaine Forget, an international summer music festival.  In 2005, after a twenty-year absence from Canada, she returned to teach at the University of Montreal, which attracts young and talented musicians from around the world.
