Keiko Alexander [piano] is a graduate of the Juilliard School in New York.  She served as Head of the Piano Department at the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music Preparatory.  While in Cincinnati, she was a member of Alexis Piano Trio, an ensemble formed with colleagues that performed frequently in the city.  Since moving to Vancouver Keiko has included teaching, performing, and conducting master classes in her busy schedule, which sometimes takes her to Europe and Asia.  She has found colleagues in Vancouver with whom to perform chamber music, including the Vancouver Trio, and with her VSO colleagues, she performed at the opening concert of the VSO School of Music’s Pyatt Hall.
