Don Ogilvie, guitar
Guitarist Don Ogilvie is a unique Vancouver musician who has played almost every style imaginable in his never-ending quest to find new means of musical expression. He currently plays a variety of guitars, oud, banjo, and electric bass, but actually acquired his Bachelor of Music degree on viola. His varied performance career is complemented by composing, being inspired by recent tours and research. He is also expanding his music teaching activities, driven by his desire to share the wealth of knowledge, experience and guitar techniques he has gathered over the years. Future plans include another tour of China, and possibly Europe, and to start a few new ensembles that will feature his newly-composed material.
