Bio
Arnt Arntzen plays banjo and guitar, and is currently attending Vancouver Community College for a degree in Musical Performance. He has shared the stage with many bands and genres, from Hot Jazz with the Brothers Arntzen to Rock'n Roll with Reggie Blackwater, and he has played with the UBC Symphonic Wind Ensemble. He also co-leads his own hot-jazz group, The Brothers Arntzen, with his brother Evan Arntzen, and plays regularly with The Hot Mommas and Tom Arntzen's Rat Pack Show. Arnt has taught in the outreach program of the Sarah McLachlan School of Music, as well as the educational programme at Long and McQuade. He leads the Bluesberries, a musical-education show for elementary schools that tours across the lower mainland and western Canada. Arnt likes to make sure that the audience has as much fun as he does, and hopes to continue to do so.
