Pianist Rita Attrot was Staff Accompanist at Acadia University in Nova Scotia, has worked as a free-lance accompanist for instrumentalists and singers in Toronto, and served as a coach and repetiteur at the University of Toronto Opera School.  She is passionate about working with vocalists and performs frequently with singers.  Ms Attrot is Head of the Piano Department at the BC Conservatory of Music in Burnaby, where she teaches piano students and also teachers their teachers to improve their skills. She is a member of the piano faculty at the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra School and is presently the Music Director at St Thomas' Anglican Church in Vancouver.
