Bio
Originally from Hong Kong, Candy Siu received her Master of Music degree in Piano Accompaniment from the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, London. Upon graduation, she relocated to Dublin where she worked with students of acclaimed voice teacher Veronica Dunne from the Royal Irish Academy of Music. Candy then furthered her training at the Flanders Operastudio in Ghent, Belgium. In the past few summers, Candy attended Centre for Opera Studies in Italy, and worked at the Franco American Vocal Academy in Salzburg, AIMS International Music School in the UK, the Irish Vocal Masterclass in Ireland, Zêzere Arts Festival for Opera in Portugal, and Montalto Musica in Italy. Candy has been a répétiteur at the Vancouver Opera since 2010. She also enjoys being a freelance ballet accompanist, church organist and piano teacher.
