Bio
Marcus Goddard, trumpetMarcus Goddard has held principal trumpet positions in orchestras in Europe and North America, and is currently the Associate Principal Trumpet with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Goddard has been a faculty member with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada and the Symphony Orchestra Academy of the Pacific. He also taught at Indiana University and the University of British Columbia, preparing young musicians for professional careers in music. Marcus is also a composer who has composed more than fifty pieces, including pieces for large orchestra, works for various chamber ensembles, music for modern dance, and a film score. His music has been performed by the St. Lawrence String Quartet, l'Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, the Victoria Symphony, and the Vancouver Symphony.
