Nina Horvath, piano

Born in Rossland BC, Nina began studying the piano at age five.  She is an Associate of the Royal Conservatory of Music and has studied at the University of Victoria, University of Denver and the University of British Columbia.  Her studies provided opportunities to explore many new musical paths including singing, collaborative piano and contemporary music.  She has always been active as a leader in the musical community helping to establish three new vocal ensembles in Victoria and a student-based concert series in Denver.  Nina is currently based in Vancouver where she teaches piano and works as a collaborative pianist.  In addition to her academic studies, she has participated in summer festivals throughout Europe and North America.  She has performed on three continents and continues to explore new performance opportunities throughout British Columbia.
