A graduate of the University of British Columbia in Voice Performance, Bahareh was a member of the UBC Opera Ensemble, appearing in many of the Ensemble’s stage productions, especially in a production of Bizet’s Carmen that toured in Ontario. Bahareh has been a soloist with the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, Vancouver Bach Choir, and Vancouver Oratorio Society. Recently, Bahareh was the youngest participant in the Western Canada District of the Metropolitan Opera National Auditions, receiving the People's Choice award. Grateful for the teachers she has had, Bahareh shares her passion for music with young musicians through the VSO Connects Elementary and High School mentorship programs and currently works with the Vancouver Bach Children’s Choir and teaches the youngest choir, the Piccolos.
