Shima Takeda completed her studies at the University of Victoria, and since then has performed with the Victoria Symphony, Sidney Classical Orchestra, the Saltspring Island Chamber Orchestra, Vancouver Island Symphony Orchestra, and the Palm Court Light Orchestra. Shima also enjoys playing chamber music and is a member of the DieMahler Quartet, Sonrisa Quartet, and Doug Farr Jazz Ensemble. She lives in Victoria and is interested in all that is happening in music in the city.
