Silvina hails from Victoria, BC  and completed her studies there. She spent several years as principal cellist of the Maui Pops Orchestra, and also performed with the Hawaii Symphony Orchestra and Hawaii Opera Theater on Oahu. She recorded for a number of albums including Grammy nominated wind, Rock, Sea and Flame in collaboration with fellow musicians. Returning to Victoria, Silvina plays with the Vancouver Island and the Victoria Symphony Orchestras.  She sings with the CappriCCio vocal Ensemble, and is also on the faculty at the Victoria Conservatory of Music.
