Jocelyn Lai is a graduate of the UBC School of Music and is currently a Master of Music candidate at the Juilliard School. She has distinguished herself as a promising young artist on both national and international stages. Successful in piano competitions since the age of four, Jocelyn’s most recent achievements include first place in the Collegiate/Professionals Category of the 2014 American Protégé International Piano Competition, and second in the 2012 Knigge National Piano Competition. Jocelyn has performed in prestigious venues such as the Weill Recital Hall at Carnegie, Chan Centre for the Performing Arts at UBC, and Paul Hall at the Juilliard School. Her recent teachers include Jane Coop and Julian Martin.
