Marka Wilcox is a violinist with the CBC Radio Orchestra in Vancouver, BC and former Concertmaster of the Eugene Symphony Orchestra in Eugene, Oregon. Before coming to Vancouver, she was a member of the St. Louis Symphony. She has appeared as soloist with the Chicago Symphony, the St. Louis Symphony, the Fraser Valley Symphony, Octava Chamber Orchestra, the Oregon East Symphony and the CBC Radio Orchestra, as well as numerous recital appearances across North America.

The Vuillaume Duo has performed repertoire for two violins since 1979. They have been featured in recital with Community Concerts, in radio broadcast recordings as soloists with the CBC Radio Orchestra and for CBC’s Westcoast Performances. They have appeared as soloists with the St. Louis Symphony, the Fraser Valley Symphony, the Abbotsford Symphony and the Oregon East Symphony. The Vuillaume Duo performs on violins made by the 19th century French maker, Jean-Baptiste Vuillaume.
