A short introduction about myself:  I’m Estella, your average grandma, until a spider bit me and turned me into a Chinese opera performer, Haha.  No… I was introduced to Chinese opera 18 years ago by me mentor Chan Chung of Qing Wun Musical Society.  I was attracted to this art form because of its unique significance to southern Chinese culture.  Each song I perform tells a story in dramatic fashion, with words that are at times poetic and romantic, history revealed than can at times to infused with raw emotion, at times invite quite reflection.  I hope you will enjoy it.  Thank you.
