Romanian-Canadian guitarist Dr. Andrei Burdeti is heard throughout North America as both a soloist and a chamber musician.  As a former member of the McGill Guitar Quartet, he performed, directed, and composed his own arrangements for the quartet . Since 2014, he performs in his own guitar and piano ensemble, the Burdeti Duo.  Dr. Burdeti’s principle mentors include Maestro Manuel Barrueco, Prof. Ray Chester, and Dr. Gary Antonio at the Johns Hopkins’ Peabody Conservatory and the McGill University.  In addition, he has received influential coachings from world-class guitarists including Rémi Boucher, Olivier Chassain, William Kanengiser and Scott Tenant.
