Chris Startup, multi-instrumentalist

Chris Startup lives in Vancouver where he has worked as a freelance musician for nearly 40 years. He has worked in a variety of big bands, show bands, pit orchestras (local and touring) and jazz ensembles. Some of Chris’ highlights include performances with:   The Vancouver Symphony Orchestra, The Dal Richards Orchestra, The Temptations, Maynard Ferguson, Gladys Knight, Frankie Valli, The Four Tops, Barry Manilow, Densil Sinclair, Ian McDougall, Kenny Wheeler, Don Rickles, Bob Newhart, Wayne Newton, Ray Charles, Clark Terry, Bernadette Peters, Mel Torme, Joan Rivers, Jim Byrnes, Phil Woods and the Royal Winnipeg Ballet.
