David Carroll, guitar

Dave Carroll is a guitarist, composer, singer-songwriter and arranger whose wide experience in classical, rock and folk music is reflected in the sheer variety of styles at his command. UK-born, now resident in Nelson BC, Dave was part of the vibrant rock scene in 1970s Birmingham, touring and recording with the Steve Gibbons Band who opened for The Who in 1976. Throughout the 80s, Dave focussed on the classical guitar, studying, teaching, arranging and performing in chamber duos until in 1991 he became involved with theatre music, becoming the resident guitarist with The Royal Shakespeare Company until 2007.
