Rebecca MacLeod
Bio
Violinist Rebecca is involved in a wide variety of musical performance - symphony orchestras, chamber music, opera orchestras, international festivals and as a soloist. She is an artist-member of Pocket Concerts, an in-home concert series. Rebecca was awarded a British Columbia Arts Council Scholarship and also received a fellowship for study at the University of Toronto. From 2008-2011 she was awarded the use of a Stradivarius violin made in 1717, along with a scholarship for the Carnegie Mellon University School of Music. Rebecca was a prizewinner in the Glenn Gould School of Music Chamber Music Competition. Her performing has taken her to many places large and small in Canada, and to Europe.
