Vancouver Island based soprano Raphael Wagner’s career includes operatic, concert, and oratorio performances, and film and recording work. She has performed with Vancouver Opera, the Vancouver Symphony, CBC Radio and Television, the Vancouver Bach Choir, Abbotsford Symphony, Vancouver Handel Society and Burnaby Lyric Opera. She also provides vocal tracks in animated film for companies such as Sony Pictures. Raphael was head of the Youth Music Theatre programs the BC Conservatory of Music and Douglas College which included being Music Director, Stage Director, & Choreographer. She has worked at UBC for the past 7 years as Vocal/Singing Professor in the Department of Theatre.
