Silk Road Duo is an award-winning ensemble who introduce audiences to different cultures through their experience, discoveries, and travels.  This duo’s special focus is acoustic music.  Touring around the globe, they bring life to folk traditions with a variety of instruments, songs, and dances.  A musical celebration for all!  Qiu Xia He (Chu Sha Her), originally from China, plays pipa (a Chinese lute), accompanied by her husband André Thibault who was born in Montreal and plays Spanish guitar, Middle Eastern lute, and Asian flutes.   Welcome to today's performance with Silk Road Duo!
