Rosanne Wieringa
Bio
ROSANNE WIERINGA, flute
Rosanne Wieringa holds the position of Second Flute in the Vancouver Symphony Orchestra. Previously, she was the principal flute with the Regina Symphony Orchestra and taught at the Conservatory of performing Arts and the University of Regina. Rosanne received her formal training at the University of Toronto, the Glenn Gould Professional School, and the New England Conservatory of Music. Early in her career, she toured with the National Youth Orchestra of Canada, the Youth Orchestra of the Americas, and the Schleswig-Holstein Music Festival in Germany. This past September, she performed the VSO concertmaster Mark Fewer at the Sweetwater music Festival in Owen Sound, Ontario.
