Scott Bellis has been a Vancouver-based stage actor for 20 years. He is an Artistic Associate at Bard on the Beach, where he is about to begin his 14th season as a company member. Last summer he played Bottom in A Midsummernight’s Dream and Duke Vincentio in Measure for Measure. Recently he has performed in the Optimists and The School for Scandal at the Arts Club, Killing Caesar at the PuSh Festival, and roles in Leisure Society, Quarry, and Thom Pain. Scott has been nominated for thirteen Jessie Awards, and is a graduate of Studio 58, where he will direct an upcoming production of Richard the Third. For Artsway, Scoctt presented a solo show of an adaption of Dickens' "A Christmas Carol" and, with his connection to the theatre world, Scott works closely with ArtsWay to select material and actors for our performances.
